About Me

My family moved to Monrovia in 1981 when I was 11 years old. I grew up on Pray Street and am graduated from Monrovia High School in 1987. Go Dogs! I attended IUPUI and became a Dental Hygienist. I lived in Indianapolis while in college and moved back to Monrovia in 1999.

I have 3 daughters; Megan (22), Jenna (20), and Julia (20) and they are Monrovia graduates. Once my daughters were born, I needed a much more flexible career. I have been a Real Estate Broker for over 20 years and my office is located at 140 E Main Street, Monrovia. I was very active volunteering while they were in school including President of the elementary PTO, Middle School Cheer Coach, Varsity Cheer Coach, Reading volunteer and I organized several dances and events.

I love the history of our town. I remember so many businesses and townspeople that are no longer with us. I am thankful for the fond memories!

I have always been involved in the community. I was in the meetings and present the night that the Homestead subdivision was approved by the Town of Monrovia. I cherish the memories of the valley being a farm. I know however that everyone is entitled to use the land they own as they wish, as long as it doesn’t harm others. I can tell you from experience that no one knows what the future will bring! I am against spending tax payer dollars on engineering reports and growth studies without a request to make changes to a parcel of ground. I have seen so much money spent on plans that never come to fruition.
